Our beautiful restaurant SixSeven located within The Edgewater Hotel directly on Elliott Bay is seeking anexperienced andprofessional General Manager to join our team. Candidate must have at leastfive (5)years of fine dining restaurant management experience. The ideal applicant would believe in hands on management, understand that service is the number one priority, and be able to lead theteam with those values.

The Edgewater Hotel is lookingfor an energetic, friendly,service oriented individual tolead ourrestaurant and lounge team!

This upscale restaurant includes indoor/outdoor seating, a creative menu, and a stunning view. Lounge features lively happy hours, live weekend entertainment and an enjoyable atmosphere for hotel guests and patrons. The ideal applicant would believe in hands on management, understand that service is number one priority, and be able to lead theteam with those values.

SixSevenGeneral Managerwill be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Create innovative and progressive programsto maintain competitive in market

  • Responsible for all marketing and creation of promotions for the restaurant and lounge.

  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.

  • Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

  • Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations and ensure compliance.

  • Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.

  • Monitor department performance with respect to F&B Budget.

  • Organize and conduct department meetings and trainingson a regular basis.

  • Cooperate in menu planning and preparation.

  • Ensure timely purchase of F&B items, within budget allocation.

  • Interview candidates forFOH F&B positions and follow standards of hiring approvals.

  • Motivate, coach, counsel all FOH associates.

  • Review F&B associate's worked hours for payroll compilation and submit to Human Resources on a timely basis.

  • Ensure implementation andadherenceto all hotel policies and procedures.

  • Maintain standards concerning credit policies.

  • All other duties as deemed necessary by the operation.

    Overall responsibility of: Restaurant Managers and associates, Restaurant/Lounge operations, Private Dining Room, Lobby Service and In Room Dinning.

    Job Requirements:

    • Requires 5+ years in a management capacity, preferably in an upscale independent restaurant and/or hotel.
    • Previous experience supervising bargaining/union associates a plus.
    • Must hold a current food workers card and a class 12 mixologist permit valid in the State of Washington.
