Job Title: Brand Marketing Manager
Location: Durham, NC- 27707
Duration: 5+ months CTH
To be successful in this job, this candidate must be a proven problem solver delivering win/win results. He/she should have the ability to translate data into actionable insights and implications for the business. In addition, he/she should be able to clearly communicate thought process and rationale leveraging consumer insights, past experiences, and intuition when data is not available. This manager needs strong communication skills to build strategic working relationships, work across the organization, and build credibility for the brand marketing team overall. He/she will also need the ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize, and maintain records as needed.
The Brand Marketing Manager acts as a change agent to drive
brand understanding and advocacy across the enterprise;
consistent delivery of the brand positioning, and data driven decision making.
Lead Annual Planning process and partake by identifying business opportunities.
Assist Manager in delivering long term growth plan. Be the expert on all brand related research.
Write relevant presentations as needed.
Lead the annual brand planning process.
Leverage data to identify strategic opportunities by audience.
Work with counterparts in Brand Marketing to ensure all activities are relevant to consumers and build brand equity by tying back to the overall brand positioning and metrics.
Work with counterparts in Brand Marketing, external agencies and clients Association to help deliver innovative, integrated advertising campaigns with motivating consumer messaging.
Integrate cross functionally with organization to align business opportunities and maximize outcomes.
Manage the consolidation and report out of brand research, including the supervision of the semi-annual brand tracking study.
