This manufacturing facility is seeking a strong hands-on style Department Manager to oversee its CNC and multiple spindled screw machine division with approximately 40 employees. In this capacity you will be responsible for new product job quoting, product introduction and launches, production scheduling, and meeting delivery dates. Qualified individuals must have at least 7 years experience managing a department to be considered, along with hands-on experience doing setups, machine layouts, tooling, and troubleshooting in a high volume multi-spindled screw machine environment. Experience with CNC machinery, as well as Acme, Gildemeister, New Britain, and/or Wickman multiple spindled screw machines, is required. Looking for a quality minded individual who is a team player with a coach and mentoring style management approach. A degreed individual is preferred.
