Looking for an opportunity with a great organization? We seek candidates with three (3) or more years of facility management experience within a healthcare environment for the role of Facilities Manager. In this role you will direct all maintenance operations at the health care facility. You will manage all aspects of routine maintenance at the hospital including management of the physical plant, electrical delivery systems, medical gas delivery systems, emergency generators, and physical plant troubleshooting and project management. You will manage engineering staff including tradespersons, day laborers, electricians, painters, plant engineers, general contractors, journeymen and electrical engineers. You may also be responsible for the general safety of the hospital and may act as the designated safety manager. At times, you will be required to supervise any general contractor hired to assist the hospital with renovations, new construction or any modifications to the existing structure(s).

Candidates must have Bachelorís degree; or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience. Must have five (5) or more years of relevant facilities experience that includes at least three (3) years of healthcare facility management experience. Must have and maintain a valid driverís license. Certification as a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) by the American Hospital Association preferred within two (2) years of employment. Must have strong knowledge of facilities, safety and security codes, security applications, and current issues related to employee safety regulations as well as state and local regulatory agencies to ensure continued compliance as necessary. Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Must have an understanding of HIPPA, safety, and security regulations as well as the ability to liaison with city, state, county and federal officials. Must be able to manage complex projects in a dynamic and evolving environment. Must be proficient in MSOffice applications.
