The Beacon of LIFE center was established to deliver PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) services. Psychiatric APN/Physician Assistant

We are currently looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Day to Day duties:
Provide continuous and comprehensive services necessary for the promotion of optimal mental health, prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders and health maintenance. This includes the assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health problems and psychiatric disorders. Work collaboratively within an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) model.

Monitor participant medication usage and results
Monitor progress and/or responses to treatments
Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental and medical health conditions
Evaluate participants behavior to formulate diagnoses or assess treatments.
Evaluate participants functioning, capabilities, or health.
Educate participants and family members/caregivers about mental health and medical conditions, preventive health measures, medications, or treatment plans.
Write prescriptions for psychotropic medications as allowed by NJ state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Treat participants for routine physical health problems.
Administer basic health care or medical treatments.
Collaborate with IDT to plan or provide treatment.
Provide home health services.
