SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions is seeking a Project Assistant for a construction company in Kalamazoo, MI. This position will assist the Project Coordinator regarding budgeting, pre-construction, project completion, and close out processes. The successful candidate will provide key administrative functions throughout the project lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare contracts and negotiate changes with consultants supplies, architects, and subcontractors.
Revises and fulfills expected commitments.
Meets or exceeds established deadlines and goals.
Provides project innovation through discovery of new sources.
Coordinates all construction document communication with the project team.
Assists with project financial reports including forecasting, current balance, contingency allowance, and routine spending.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree in Business Administration or similar field, or 2-5 years’ equivalence of administrative experience required.
Experience in a construction environment highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Construction Terminology knowledge and practices a plus.
General office administration knowledge.
