Responsible for modifying existing and designing and developing new antenna and radome products using new and unique concepts to respond to customer and marketplace needs. Develops new products under IR & D tasks and better ways to manufacture existing products and to maintain the quality standards of the Company. Directs the engineering efforts on new design. Coordinates all technical issues with Programs and customers.

Responsibilities
嵯esigns or directs design efforts for antennas or radomes to meet customer specifications. Provides assistance and support to others in the phases of the design effort.
嫂ssists in the preparation of proposals including design concepts, costing, writing sections and making presentations to management and customers.
嵯esigns new products to meet anticipated customer requirements or to add new products.
惹erves as project engineer on assigned programs to insure that engineering tasks are assigned, schedules are met and work is completed on time and within budget.
弒nterfaces with customers to answer questions, make presentations, provide product application data, and support Programs, Sales and Marketing.
嫂ssists Marketing/Sales with making sales calls to potential customers to provide technical support. Also assist Marketing/Sales in assessing technical competence to pursue new programs/hardware opportunities.
感rovides sustaining engineering support to Operations to answer questions or resolve technical issues related to the fabrication, assembly and test of products.

Educational And Professional Credentials
Minimum 12 years experience as an Antenna or Radome Designer and a B.S. Electrical Engineering, preferred M.S. in Electrical Engineering with RF Microwave and Composites courses.

oAble to conceptualize technical applications and design products and solutions to problems from those concepts.
oExperience designing RF microwave horn-type antennas and radomes.
oExperience with test equipment for antennas and radomes.
oProject engineering experience.
oExperience preparing proposals including the technical portions and the costing.
oGood technical analytical skills and math skills.
oComputer proficiency in both word processing, computer modeling and engineering design applications.
oGood oral and written communication skills. Good presenter.
oGood interpersonal skills.
oUnderstanding of application of Wave Guide and Apertures and use of Ridges in Apertures.
oDetailed understanding of antenna and radome radiation, mechanical and environmental testing.
oUnderstanding and practice of professional behavior in contact with customers and all personnel within the company.

US Citizenship is necessary in order to obtain a secret clearance.
