Performs advanced research and development in key technology areas, such as digital signal processing, embedded processor software, electromagnetics and antennas. We are solving the most challenging electronic communications, countermeasures and surveillance problems that the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Agencies will be facing in the future. We specialize in the transformation of unique technological innovations into major system integration and weapon system production opportunities, such as the Navy’s WSQ-9 submarine sonar system.

Job Duties:
• Performs research and development for antenna systems, engineered materials, and low observable technology in support of DoD communications, radar and surveillance systems.
• Works closely with program managers in defining and executing technical work, may function as technical task lead, and supports IR&D and business development initiatives.
• Works at all phases of antenna system development from initial concept generation to modeling, prototype fabrication, and test.

Required Education: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.

Required Experience/Skills:
• 3+ years hands-on experience in antenna design, fabrication and test with a strong background in applied electromagnetics.
• Familiarity with antenna measurements such as VSWR, gain, and patterns.
• Experience with antenna test equipment such as Agilent’s PNA network analyzer.
• Design experience with printed antennas, slots, broadband antennas, tunable antennas, and phased arrays.
• Experience with MATLAB, electromagnetic analysis techniques (MOM, FDTD, TLM), commercial antenna design and analysis software (HFSS, Micro-Stripes, CST), and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance is required.
