Responsible to medical insurance billing, electronic medical records entry, documentation faxing, patient registration, fee collection, procedure entry, payment entry, insurance verification, CPT and ICD 9 coding, telephone communications, chart filing, arranging outside diagnostic testing, appointment scheduling.
Clinical duties include: injections, taking vital signs and charting chief complaints, patient preparation and histories, patient call backs with lab results and patient questions, prescription calls to pharmacies.
Laboratory duties include: urinalysis, drug screen testing,pregnancy testing
