Looking for Medical Billing & Coding Specialist by a health care center!You will be responsible to perform following specified duties:
A.Compile information to print on a HCFA 1500 form.
B.Insure correct code selection for compliance with federal regulations and insurance requirements.
C.Apply diagnostic coding (CPT & ICD-9), current procedural terminology, and modifiers higher reimbursement.
D.Compile amounts owed to medical facility and follow up with insurance companies for payment reimbursement
D.File claims and patient statements electronically
E.Enter patient demographics,post charges and payments to customer accounts.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or Equivalent, knowedge on CPT & ICD-9 Coding, CPC Certification from AAPC will be added advantage.Besides,the applicant will be aware of computer operation and data entry skill
