Responsible to:
A.Manage provision of staffing levels in accordance with patient dependency.
B.Implement cost effective staffing strategies.
C.Recruitment and retention of staff.
D.Ensure compliance with Commission for Healthcare Audit and Inspection (CHAI)
initiatives.
E.Audits of nursing practice in areas of infection control, documentation and
patient safety.
F.Implement a weekly teaching program for nurses in areas identified as weaknesses in
practice.
