Our client, a community bank based in the southern or central suburbs of the Twin Cities, MN, seeks a Vice President of Commercial Lending. The exceptional candidate may be considered for a Branch President opportunity, which would require excellent team leadership and strategic planning skills, in addition to the requirements below.

Requirements include:

• Five or more years of experience in business banking as a commercial or business banking lender/originator
• Generalist commercial/business banking skills with strong lending and credit accomplishments within any combination of business lending, lines of credits, business checking/savings, SBA, 504’s, 7A’s etc…
• Demonstrated history of proactively developing business; a strong sales focus for originating loans and deposits.
• Established network of local business contacts and ability to manage and grow a portfolio while maintaining credit strength and credit integrity of the bank
• Demonstrated ability to actively sit on loan committees and provide a leader’s focus on process, loan structuring, compliance, and credit integrity
• Potential to advance to a Branch President within a relatively short period of time.
• Previous experience in a community bank dealing with midsize clients with revenues from $1M to $50M
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or other business related degree
