We are currently seeking a test and measurements engineer or technical sales and marketing staff member, who will aid in our sales and marketing campaigns in order to keep up with our customers demands. This is a technical roll where existing working knowledge in Anechoic Chambers will be helpful.

The select individual will prepare technical proposals and quotations in response to customers’ RFP’s for Anechoic Chambers. This requires excellent technical writing capabilities, pulling together costs from vendors, interpreting designs from our consultants, creating AutoCAD layout drawings, coordinating samples and test reports, and following up with customers to help win Anechoic Chamber contracts.
Coordinate contract review after a job is won, oversee the handoff to manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Write technical proposals in response to RFP’s. Make sales calls as necessary with the Sales Manager to gather information and present proposals. (less than 5% travel expected)

·Work with our consultants to develop designs based on customer specifications, and translate these designs into AutoCAD drawings and bills of material. Pull together vendor quotes, and determine lead-times and project scheduling.

·Maintain and update our database of proposals and quotations, and use this as a tool to conduct win/loss analyses.

·Once a job is won, coordinate contract review and handoff to manufacturing. Visit jobsites as required, and follow through on jobs to successful completion.

·Over time, learn the technology and the nuances of Anechoic Chamber design and construction, and become a chamber “expert”. We eventually want to bring all Anechoic Chamber design work in-house.

·Suggest process and product improvements, and work with manufacturing and engineering to coordinate experiments.

·Write technical reports, applications notes, and collateral to support our quotations and proposals

You will work hand in hand and report directly to our Anechoic Chamber Sales Manager.

·A Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline; a knowledge of radio-frequency technology (antennas, radars, microwave devices) or a B.S.E.E. is a plus.

·3 to 5 years of experience in technical proposal writing, or as a RF test engineer with familiarity working in Anechoic Chambers and excellent writing and presentation skills.
·Familiarity with construction projects is a plus.

·Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and publishing software such as PageMaker.

·Must have great attention to detail, problem solving, working with multi-faceted projects, and be a self-starter who is driven to follow projects through to completion.
