Trained teachers will possess a Bachelors degree in English Language and Literature or Language Arts. (Not TEFL or TESOL) They will also either have obtained certification (Secondary Teaching) through a reputable undergraduate teacher preparation program or have obtained an MEd (with certification) from a well-regarded School of Education.

Total salary for a fresh graduate with a teaching qualification is approximately USD28-30,000 after tax. Experienced trained teachers may be placed on a higher promotional grade with a correspondingly higher salary. Return air passage and relocation allowances provided.
