As an experienced IP Network SE you will have the opportunity to design test and deploy the latest network and server technologies working with our technology partners to create location-independent redundant systems that support our worldwide customer base. As part of the senior management team, you will also play an important role in shaping the future direction of our company.

Required Skills:

*In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and communication protocols. Experienced in the design of enterprise network routing architectures using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP and static routes. Knowledge of Quality of Service, IPSec, GRE tunnels, multicasting and traffic balancing techniques essential.
* In-depth knowledge of MPLS/IP-VPN networks
* Strong ability to troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network issues in the LAN and WAN networks and working with multiple application and system teams to identify bottlenecks and other network configuration issues.
* Plan and conduct complex project studies; includes analyzing multiple data sources and publishing results to the team or to the technical user community
* 5 + years experience installing and maintaining mission-critical IP network and computing systems
* General knowledge in installing and supporting internet services such as DNS, SMTP, and POP3
* Strong working knowledge of Cisco VPN/Firewall technologies
* Experience designing configuring high availability failover for networking and servers
* Experiencing installing and maintaining equipment in a high density data center
* Cisco CCIE is preferred

IP Network Design and Deployment

* Designing and testing various configuration of application load balancing architectures for optimal performance and fault tolerance
* Designing and testing the VPN infrastructure linking the data centers and customer locations using Cisco PIX firewalls
* Configuring and testing layer 2 network devices for optimal performance and redundancy using Cisco routers and Polycom gateways switches
* Deploying the successful new configuration to all points of presence
* Documenting all network configurations

Network and Data Centre Installation

* Evaluating and selecting data center systems to meet our hosting requirements
* Work with the selected data center vendors to execute contracts and deliver services
* Installing servers and networking equipment in a high-density data center environment
* Wiring data centers to support all required equipment
* Documenting all data center physical configurations

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting

* Develop and train staff on a protocol for diagnosing and troubleshooting customer connectivity problems
* Assist the support department with resolving difficult customer support issues related to networking
* Assist larger customers with installation and configuration of connectivity


Systems Monitoring

* Test and implement additional real-time monitoring systems for all systems
* Create a system outage response protocol and train additional staff members to provide 24x7 coverage against outages
