A growing division of a large international corporation producing highly engineered components / assemblies for the medical, industrial, machine tool and automotive industries is searching for a Division Quality Manager. This position reports to the Division General Manager and is responsible for 3 manufacturing facilities.

We are searching for degreed candidates with 5 plus years of quality engineering and 5 plus years in quality management. Interested candidates will need thorough knowledge of ISO and TS-16949 quality management systems. Experience with quality improvement, tools and techniques, (ie: Lean, Six Sigma, SPC and Failure Mode and Effects analysis ( FMEA ). The Division Quality Manager will work with managers to improve the quality management system and ensure associates are trained in appropriate skills to improve quality performance, crate and implement a quality plan and achieve levels of quality established through organizational goals and customer requirements. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to improve the division’s quality performance using advanced problem solving techniques is a must. Past experience preparing, reviewing and approving DFEMA, PFMEA, PPAP, control plans and corrective actions is also required. Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate and provide examples of having solid planning, leadership and quality management skills.

Working from the division headquarters, the division QC Manager will manage three quality managers and the quality management system. The medical candidate will have basic process experience working in a close tolerance production machining and assembly environment. Exposure to CNC machining, high volume machining and/or production machining is strongly preferred. MUST HAVE: 5 plus years of quality engineering and quality management. Knowledge of ISO / TS16949, Lean, Six Sigma is a must. Past experience working in a production machining / assembly environment is a major plus.
