Focus on solution selling together with account teams and cross functional/virtual teams through active engagement throughout the solution cycle.
Maintain and drive Cisco's services business and achieve sales targets through articulated value selling with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
Own the construction of meaningful services proposal by using the full range of Cisco Service portfolio and successfully present to the customer.
Maintain solid deal pipeline and report accurately on it (weekly forecast, monthly and quarterly reviews).
Manage the entire sales cycle from the proposal to booking of the order (contractual negotiation, deal structure, etc).
Create and maintain a solid business plan including the necessary elements to achieve your goal and develop your territory/area of responsibility. Execute the joint account plan for strategic accounts and focus on solution selling together with account teams and relevant cross functional/virtual teams. Contribute in the strategic account planning process together with account teams.
Build services-led business engagements by positioning our core advanced and advisory services using the lifecycle services framework.
Ensure regular communication (services portfolio, activities and updates) with customers and cross functional counterparts.
Proactively build and maintain solid business relationships at all levels in the customer hierarchy.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Team player, with proven ability to manage by influence. Effective with minimal supervision. Ability to help colleagues and customers identify and resolve issues and problems through effective questioning and advice including using appropriate consulting processes and methodologies to generate progress on issues and problems.
Clear and concise written, verbal and presentation skills. Ability to gain executive presence/confidence and make a positive initial impact.
Building team rapport and motivation, clarifying team processes, setting collaborative goals, and leveraging individual and collective talents.
Ability to successfully build and lead cross functional team (marketing, account teams, delivery, finance) that align with the business needs and goals.
Ability to identify issue/problem (root cause), understanding impact, develop effective solution. Effective escalation management. A tolerance for high workload and occasional travel will be required for this role.
A bachelors or master's in any discipline.
A minimum of 6 - 8 years of relevant value selling, sales experience.
Work experience in high technology/networking environment required. Work experience in services business or maintenance/consulting preferred.
