Responsibilities :

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Kentwood, LA facility who will be responsible for providing leadership to the Maintenance Department so as to enable them to deliver operational excellence by directing the preventive and predictive maintenance and repair of equipment and machines to ensure reliability and optimum utilization.

Specific responsibilities are as follows:

Manage parts inventory, line installations, capital projects and budgets
Manage, coordinate, facilitate and provide technical leadership to the plant staff; plan activities for effective operations through utilization and interaction with employees to meet and exceed safety, budgetary, production and quality standards
Facilitate and drive continuous improvement; assist employees with problem resolution and coach to support change initiatives
Develop and implement line maintenance activities
Ability to use maintenance type systems that allow you to make historical, logical and predictive decisions.

Qualifications :

* Minimum of three years of progressive maintenance experience in continuous manufacturing environment
* Minimum of seven years successful experience working with blow molding machines
* Minimum of five years in a management role
* Ability to prioritize and manage through the CMMS system
* Ability to train and build a maintenance team
* Experience with lean manufacturing practices
* Demonstrated track record of growth as a manufacturing engineering professional
* Prior experience successfully managing direct reports
* Bachelor degree preferred with formal education in electrical, pneumatics, robotics, hydraulic and mechanical maintenance and repair
