Crawford Communications Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is currently looking for a well-qualified, Senior Product Marketing Manager for an engagement with our leading high technology client located on the S.F. Peninsula.
Target Consulting Dates: ASAP for 6 months, or likely to convert to a permanent employee position during this timeframe.

Firm Consulting Rate: $65 to $80 (Depends on experience), as a w-2 employee of Crawford Communications Group.
Hours/location: Fulltime/Onsite at Corporate HQ. Local S.F. Bay Area candidates only please. No phone calls will be accepted. Job Description: The winning candidate has a successful track record leading, driving, managing, and delivering a wide range of product marketing functions. For example, the key responsibilities include product launches and broad lifecycle management of computer products. Proven track record co-selling with internal sales team and working directly with retail channels is important to your success. Additionally it entails promotional strategies, inventories optimization, pricing models, and ultimately P & L responsibility. The position demands marketing support and close involvement with the sales team.The consultant is part of an efficient, lean, and well-rounded/well-qualified team and would be required to deliver comprehensively across all of the classic-day to day activities in this role. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: · 8 plus years of Product Marketing experience, including several years with computer products, computer accessories/peripherals, consumer electronics, and/or consumer packaged goods. · 3 or more years managing retail consumer electronic channels and large distributors. · Proven ability to develop the strategic direction and launch plans for new product introductions. · Highly effective at communicating market and product requirements to the global product team, including new product requests and product changes/enhancements. · Astute at communicating launch plans and leading cross-functional teams in overall execution. · Solid track record interfacing with channel marketing to develop U.S. go-to market strategies and tactics to ensure market success. · Expertise working collaboratively with sales and channels to gain placement and sell-through of computer products. · Solid ability to develop and deploy sales training/tools, and coordinate with Marketing Communications to create and deliver PR , Web, collateral, packaging, etc. · Solid skill set across pricing strategies, competitive analyses, end of life strategies, and P & L responsibility. · Background in consumer/business inventory forecasting and management. SOFT-SKILLS REQUIRED: · Must be a self-starter, quick study, independent performer who can contribute end to end-strategically and drive/project manage tactical execution · Professional who can clearly communicate product, marketing and design objectives. · Highly adept at driving cross-functional teams · BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or General Business.
