As a member of our product development team, you will create software that impacts millions of people and helps public safety and first responders in times of need. You will design and develop cutting-edge public safety products for our critical communication radio systems used by police, fire, EMS, military and commercial customers throughout the world.

As a member of our console design team you will provide software design, development, and maintenance on our company's Electronics emergency dispatch console products, leveraging your skill in C++, DirectX, and kernel mode programming to create a world-class product. During the course of your work, you will interface with our system architecture, system engineering and test groups to create designs, develop requirements and design specifications, and formulate test and delivery plans. With these plans in hand, you will implement the design using the latest design tools from Microsoft, M-Audio, and Rational.

Candidate must have a BSEE or BSCS or equivalent with 5 years of C/C++ programming object oriented design and analysis, Windows device driver and Win32 API programming in an enterprise environment. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, and a willingness to take responsibility and deliver on urgent projects is key to success in this position.

Candidate must have strong writing and presentation skills.

Audio Processing experience on Win32 Platforms (DirectX and Kernel Streaming)

Full software design life cycle (SDLC) experience

Thorough knowledge of software architecture and design

GUI design and programming experience

Thorough knowledge of software architecture and design

GUI design and programming experience

Multi-threaded application programming experience

Low level hardware interface experience

Familiarity with the Rational toolset

Experience writing C# WinForms applications

Microsoft.NET framework programming

IP and Serial-based protocols experience

Windows XP embedded experience

IEEE C.S.D.P. certification preferred
