The Associate Medical Director works closely with Partners Community Healthcare, Inc. (PCHI) senior management, performance management and account management teams in the implementation of PCHI's overall strategy to develop and implement programs to improve the quality, efficiency and safety of care across the PCHI network with an emphasis on performance in the Pay for Performance Contracts. The Associate Medical Director chairs several important committees, including Medical Management, System Improvement Grants and the Network Visiting Committee. He/she plays a critical role in the relationships between PCHI and our group medical practices.

Board Certification required with at least 5 years of clinical practice experience. Must have extensive experience with managed care and medical management, experience in data analysis to assess quality and efficiency of care and return on investment for medical management programs. Also required is an understanding of medical practice organization and finance, leadership skills - including the ability to influence physicians even without direct authority - frequent and impromptu internal and external presentations. Excellent communication, negotiation and planning skills along with flexibility, self-motivation, goal orientation, and independence are required.
