Job Summary

Assist in the effort of system design, research, development, implementation, and support as it relates to LANs and desktops within the organization. This includes but is not limited to network operating systems, desktop applications, and branch automation roll outs. Handle on-site issues for IT.

Trouble-shoot hardware, software, and application problems at the branches and corporate offices. Responsible for "hot spares" and replacing non-functional equipment and/or software; overseeing or participating in equipment and/or software installations; moves; adds and changes.

Essential Job Functions

Research and develop new operating systems and applications.
Design, configure, implement, and support local area networks.
Interface with internal customers and departments on new Systems Integration projects, problem determination and resolution.
Review, analyze, and recommend hardware and software for the Distributed Systems group.
Trouble-shoot technical issues.
Oversee or participate in repairs to equipment and/or software; handle installations, moves, adds, and changes.
Administer applications specific to the placement group. Applications may include messaging, fax, data transfer, or monitoring applications.
Attend work on a regular basis, on time, and withstand varying degrees of stress.
