RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist sales staff by educating the customer in security technologies, products and services. Work with the sales team to plan and organize sales strategies. Analyze the sales environment including customer expectations, competitive environment, customer's technical environment and define actions to be performed in the sales cycle timeframe. Analyze the customer needs and interests. Prepare and deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations and statements of understanding documentation. Respond to RFI's and RFP's. Keep abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services. Participate in trade shows and conventions. Maintain customer and partner relationships to ensure satisfaction and continually strive to improve those relationships. Travel required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of two years selling technical systems hardware and/or services. Minimum of two years experience in security engineering. Bachelor's Degree in Science, Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications strongly preferred: CCSP, CCIE-Security, CISSP
Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of firewall, VPN, intrusion prevention, and network admission control markets Knowledge of Cisco security products, including ASA, PIX, VPN, CSA, MARS, CSM, NCM, NAC Project estimation and scoping experience. Outstanding oral and written technical and non-technical communication skills. Ability to establish customer trust and confidence. LAN/WAN internetworking technology, including network and application protocols. Knowledge of one or more security specialty areas such as Policy, Disaster Avoidance & Recovery Planning, Technical Investigations, Intrusion Prevention techniques and tools, Risk Analysis Advanced knowledge of the following technology areas: network security practices, audits, planning, design, implementation, testing and management Network Security assessment tools and techniques Ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Network Operating Systems Network architecture and protocols Experience in writing proposals and technical documents and presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.
