Celebrating our 38 th anniversary as a leader in the aerospace industry,NORDAM is seeking candidates for the position ofSenior Hydraulics Design Engineer – Nacelle and Thrust Reverser Division . The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the following:

Hydraulic system design
Hydraulic component design and development
System analysis
Qualification process
FAA regulatory certification
Manufacturing floor and field technical support
Requirements for this position include the following:

Solid understanding of fundamental and advanced hydraulic theory
Ability to apply knowledge in the design of complex hydraulic circuits and components for aerospace and in-house engineering test equipment applications
Ability to interpret and apply ISO, SAE, and ANSI fluid power related standards as they relate to hydraulic schematic development, component and hydraulic system design
Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Ability to conduct and supervise system and component level testing
Bachelor level degree in Engineering or the sciences or equivalent and six (6) plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of CAD that would extend to the use of Catia v4 and/or v5 with suitable training
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency
