Top Architectural firm is seeking a motivated Specification Writer to join their firm in Silver Spring, MD.
The Specification writer duties will include preparation of project manuals, create and maintain office master specifications and CSI certification assist in research of materials and systems for healthcare, labs, corporate/commercial, mixed-use aviation and government projects. Candidate must be proficient at reading and interpreting architectural drawings and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualified candidate will have a four year degree in Architectural and 7-10 years of experience in Spec Writing with a background in the coordination and preparation of specifications for Healthcare/ Government Agencies. Candidate must have strong leadership and mentoring skills along with excellent computer skills using MS Office products and the ability to handle multiple projects as well as type and edit.
