Marketing Operations Associates perform day-to-day tactical tasks associated with the execution of direct marketing programs. Staff members at this level are responsible for all aspects of data management, coordinating service vendors to perform various data-related functions, reviewing output reports for quality assurance/control.

Qualifications:
Job Experience
1-2 years experience in a direct marketing environment, with data-oriented responsibilities a plus. Demonstrated aptitude and interest in databases, process management, and attention to details are required.
Education
Minimum Bachelors degree; MBA a plus
Skills
Basic office skills, ability to use MS-Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required; experience with any database program(s) a plus. Strong writing skills extremely helpful; good communication skills required. Knowledge of data layouts, formats, and processes a big plus. Good project management skills needed.

Project/Task Management
Reporting
Perform quality control/assurance on all vendor-supplied output reports; summarize, format, and distribute
Processing Specifications
Create detailed data processing specifications for vendors and client IT organizations
Vendor Coordination
Provide task schedules and manage vendor functions to adhere to schedules
Manage vendor budgets and approve payment
Channel Execution
Coordinate execution of marketing programs and/or fulfillment with in direct mail, e-mail, telemarketing channels
Other Functions That May Be Required
Travel to vendors and/or client sites for final quality assurance or team meetings
Status reporting
Performing list pulls
Delivering input/output data files via FTP transmission
Writing RFI/RFQ/RFP content
Performing database queries
Developing process flows
