Provide Contractual Services with technical support for Combustion and/or HGP hardware, understanding deterioration modes and developing commercial opportunities such as Condition Based Maintenance. This position will involve cross-functional teams including Turbine Engineering, Combustion Engineering, Chief Engineers Office, Reliability Engineering, CS, Services and others.

- Responsible for integrating technologies into Services in support of Contractual Services initiatives, including:

- Development of component service limits for use in condition based maintenance based on a thorough understanding of component capabilities and limitations.

- Development of processes and procedures for implementation of condition based maintenance.

- Early identification of failure modes.

- Understand and assess risks associated with Contractual Services initiatives.

- Support unit-specific CS opportunities such as Departure Records.

- Lead, investigate, quantify and develop opportunities for Contractual Services through knowledge of hardware and its capabilities.

- Interfacing with Design Engineering teams.

- Preparing technical proposal documentation.
Qualifications

- 4 yr Engineering degree.

- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

- If currently a GE employee, must have been in current position for at least 12 months and have at least a satisfactory performance rating.

Desired

- MS Degree or Higher in a Related Discipline.

- Services, Contractual Services or Technology Analysis Experience.

- Reliability Experience.

- Understanding of the Business of Gas Turbine Operation.

- Black Belt Certified (GE employees only).

Greenville, SC is the preferred location, however other locations may be considered.

- Power Generation a division of Services Engineering supports the current operations and maintenance of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators as well as Turbine Control and Accessory systems. Our Engineers support all turbine related equipment from the time the equipment is installed until it is decommissioned.
