Position Description Perform Software and Systems Engineering especially in the area of advanced communications, specifically software defined communications with High Information Assurance applicability, and network systems architectures for the Advance Systems Integrated Design Solutions organization. This position requires excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skills dealing. The position requires intimate knowledge of the Ground Mobile Radio (GMR) JTRS architecture and functionality or the AMF JTRS architecture and functionality. Real Time OS (RTOS, i.e. GHS Integrity), middleware (CORBA, i.e. OrbExpress), operating hardware services and driver development (i.e. radio services and radio devices) and porting, WF porting, Software Communication Architecture (SCA), and computer engineering experience are absolutely essential. Additional software systems experience in large scale software development and integration programs and proposals is pertinent. Experience in the AMF JTRS or GMR JTRS proposal effort and change proposal efforts are a plus. Experience with the complete software life-cycle as related to SEI standards and the CMMI criteria is desired. Verbal and written communication skills are needed as associated to the presentation of software architecture. The selected individual will have a proven track record on developing/supporting software, presenting at design reviews and being recognized for being a key contributor for a successful review, and participating in product demonstrations (with hands on operational knowledge) in promoting Boeing capabilities and technical competency. Working with other teams in a collaborative development environment is a key to success. REQUIRED: Knowledge and experience in Software Defined Radios (preferably JTRS or FAB-T), Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), middle-ware (e.g. CORBA), C/C++/C#, Interface Definition Language (IDL), XML, DOORS, Rhapsody (UML modeling), ClearCase, Quartus II (or equivalent), TI Code Composer (or equivalent) and software network communications. DESIRED: SNMP, PKI/DTLS/ information assurance experience are a plus. In addition SOSCOE, C2 Systems, and/or Visual Security Operations (VSOC) experience is a plus.
