They will coordinate who does which ortho cases, lead person, will also do scrubbing in only ortho cases; The Ortho Coordinator position is responsible to act as a liaison with the Orthopedic Surgeons and clinical staff. This position monitors Orthopedic instrumentation conditions and assures that instruments are processed properly…..repairing, refurbishing and replacing as needed. Maintains an organized, clean and safe department at all times; and performing other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: Previous Ortho Surg Tech experience required.

EDUCATION: High School/GED Required Surg Tech License/ Certification. and Technical or Vocational Surgical Tech training. BLS required on hire.
