Core Oracle DBA Consultants / Sr.DBA

a) Holder of any degree from a recognized university
b) Meeting the following roles and responsibilities:
• Installs Oracle-delivered software.
• Creates and installs a Oracle Demo and Sys database.
• Configures the Application Server Domain, Web Server, and Process Scheduler.
• Completes and installs the Verification Test.
• Object Migration and Object format conversion
• Review scripts and modify, if necessary, for customer standards.
• Monitor databases and provide database support.
• Perform backups and recoveries.
• Troubleshoot and tune database.
• Enforce standards.
• Manage network security and connectivity.
• Data Migration
• Resolves technical issues with the Database Administrator (DBA) and System Administrator.
• Creates and oversees all necessary technical checklists to ensure completion of the technical development work.
• Reports completed tasks, issues, and risks & Completes technical fit gap analysis according to Oracle guidelines.
• Unit, System, and Interface Test changes.
• Work closely with functional resources to ensure business needs are met.
• Document all changes.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues.
• Set up workstations.
• Network configuration.
• Manage logins, passwords, and system security.
• Troubleshoot server issues
e) Ability to understand existing application landscape and bridge the gap with the latest Oracle 9i / 10g databases.
f) Good communication skills
g) Previous end-to-end implementation or Offshore experience will be a plus.
