Energy Learning Center Controls Instructor will be responsible for training and development coursework for Gas and Steam turbine controls, serving the Power Services Field Engineering teams. Will deliver both entry level, advanced and refresher training courses on GE turbine controls products. Also, will work closely with Controls and Product Engineering teams to deliver current, cutting edge technology training to meet business fulfillment needs. Other key responsibilities include:

* Integrate Field Engineering e-tools, reporting, service notice and other business processes into the controls programs.

* Possess in-depth controls product knowledge.

* Ability to learn and apply new technology, specifically MK-6e.

* Develop and build lab stations to support courses.

* Function as a technical subject matter expert.

* Appraise performance of program participants.

* Support Customer training classes as necessary.
Qualifications

* BS-Engineering, Physical Sciences.

* Minimum 2 years field experience with Turbine equipment installation, startup and maintenance.

Desired

* Field Engineering Program (FEP) Graduate.

* Training Experience (customer or internal).

* Recent installation experience.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (oral and written).

* Flexible, willing to learn and teach new technologies.

* Organized, team player.

* Gas Turbine Startup Program graduate.

* Certified DLN Tuner, Green Belt certified (GE Employees Only).
