Our client is one of the well established MNCs based at Bangalore has an urgent requirement for the position of Software Engineer – GNU, Unix, Perl, FreeBSD, C. Remuneration will be excellent for the suitable candidate.

Job Description:

1. Designing and implementing world class systems and tools to support the development environment and production release process. Enhance the compiler toolchain and debuggers used within the build environment by adding support for new chipset families to meet the demands of an increasingly diverse product portfolio.
2. Develop to resolve compiler issues and provide technical guidance.

Job Requirement:

1. The incumbent must have familiarity with GNU toolchain.
2. Familiarity with basic compiler technology (especially cross-compilation) and debugger structure required.
3. Expert knowledge of C and good knowledge of Perl required.
4. Demonstrated experience in software product development required.
5. Previous experience with FreeBSD (or NetBSD or OpenBSD) and a working knowledge of UNIX system administration is a plus.
6. Experience with applications on embedded hardware is also a plus.

Education:
Bachelor degree in EE or CS

Experience:
3 - 8 years of relevant experience
