CLIENT: Our Client is an IT subsidiary of $4 billion global manufacturing company leaders in designing, manufacturing of automotive OEM. This captive Center serves the projects related to Global IT and mainly concentrates on providing IT Infrastructure, Operations and Services.

Job Requirement
• Solid experience with Veritas Netbackup 5.1 or 6.0, Backup Exec 11d, 12d for servers with a strong systems background in Unix and/or Wintel platforms.
• Knowledge of CA BrightStor Enterprise Backup (version 10.5 and above) and ArcServe backup would be a plus.
• Backup infrastructure elements including Enterprise Tape Libraries such as Storage Tek, EMC or IBM Virtual Tape Libraries
• Backup performance management, performance tuning and backup reporting methodologies (success/failure measurements, report creation, metrics reporting, etc.)
• Autosys and storage manager experience a plus
• The Backup Specialist will be responsible for the transfer and migration of multiple SAP environments on new h/w using different backup methods of live SAP and Oracle database instances that are being decommissioned.
Work Experience
• 4 years experience working in IT service support organization within complex IT infrastructure environments (Veritas backup exec/ Netbackup).
