In this position you would support a Senior Vice President with all administrative matters. This is a contract position that will run from late April or early May 2008 until mid-January 2009.
Aside from a great work environment, the company offers: a competitive salary ($38,000-$43,000/year, depending on experience); a bonus; 3 weeks vacation (pro-rated); minimal overtime, the opportunity to take every other Friday off in the summertime and many other perks.
Job duties include:
- managing appointment calendar and prioritizing meeting requests
- preparing weekly schedule updates
- coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and other required resources
- preparing and managing correspondence and files
- assisting in the annual budget process
- reviewing monthly budget and reporting variances
- processing invoices and expense reports for payment
- managing the Charitable Donations program
- other administrative duties as required, such as answering phones, filing, etc.
The ideal candidate will have a completed post-secondary education and a minimum of five years administrative experience in which you have managed a calendar for a Manager, Director or Executive . Other requirements include: excellent software skills (in particular, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint); proven strong drafting/proofreading skills; outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and take initiative within a fast-paced environment.
