Our client is one of the well established MNCs based at Bangalore has an urgent requirement for Senior Software Engineer – embedded, kernel device drivers, ethernet,. Remuneration will be excellent for the suitable candidate.

Job Description:

1. Design, develop and support interface and layer 2 software on routers. Primary responsibilities would be to design, develop, bring up and support embedded and kernel device drivers for various line cards.

Job Requirement:

1. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in designing and developing projects using C in UNIX and real-time embedded system environment is a must.
2. Experience in at least one of SONET/SDH, ethernet technologies is required.
3. Knowledge of layer 2 protocols like PPP, cisco-hdlc, frame-relay, multilink (ML-FR/ML-PPP), ARP, xSTP would be a big plus.
4. Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and an ability to work well in a cross-functional team.

Education:
Bachelor degree in EE or CS

Experience:
4 - 8 years of relevant experience
