Our client is one of the well established MNCs based at Bangalore has an urgent requirement for the position of Software Engineer – Layer 1, Layer2, Sonet, Ethernet. Remuneration will be excellent for the suitable candidate.

Roles and Responsibility

1. Take complete ownership of upcoming Juniper Products with respect to Interfaces Verification
2. Reduce the Interfaces verification cycle time by effective automation methodologies and provide pointers to the team members and improve the efficiency of the team

Job Requirement:

1. The incumbent must have minimum 3 yrs + of experience with excellent technical leadership. Should have sound technical acumen and orientation knowledge.
2. At least 2 years of relevant experience on Layer 1 and Layer2 in Sonet/SDH, Ethernet, T1/E1, ATM, Frame relay, OC3, OC12, OC192, OC48 or channelized versions of the same
3. Very Good automation skills, should be good on Perl, Shell scripts, TCL/TK
4. Should have demonstrated skills in architecting the verification efforts in the above areas and delivering the product with immense focus on quality
5. Should have worked on basic core routing domain and ATM switches and Ethernet Switch routers and should have verified line cards of these products
6. Good Skills on Interoperability testing and sound third party product exposure (Cisco’s core routers, Lucent’s Routers and Switches and Juniper Boxes

Education:
Bachelor degree in EE or CS

Experience:
3 - 8 years of relevant experience
