Job Purpose:
Manage and coach the JDE team. Work with business owners of JDE systems to evaluate and prioritize projects. Set change management processes and ensure that they are followed. Manage projects to ensure that deadlines are met. Provide support to the JD Edwards user community in relation to the functionality and proper usage of the various modules in use by the company.

Principal responsibilities:
·Prioritize projects in coordination with business owners
·Allocate JDE team resources in the most efficient manner
·Coordinate business analysts, JDE developers and in partnership with CNC and AS400 administrator to resolve JDE application issues
·Assess requests for development
·Approve promotes of development work into prototype and production
·Provide subject matter expertise on the functionality and proper use of JDE
·Assist with the integration of JDE into other packaged and custom applications
·Perform other duties as assigned to support the company.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
·2-3 year College Diploma in a related discipline, university degree preferred
·5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the retail industry
·Finance background and experience is a definite asset
·Must have experience with JDE Xe / 8.10 or newer, preferably in an AS/400 environment
·Strong technical knowledge of JDE tables and various JDE components’ interrelationship.
·JDE financials (GL/AP/AR)
·JDE Distribution (Procurement/Sales Order)
·JDE Agreement Management, Fixed Assets, Job Costing
·Experience in use of SQL
·General knowledge of system development life cycle
·Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, listening and facilitating
·Good negotiation and persuasion skills
·Understanding of the retail business cycle (retail pharmacy preferred)
·Proven research and analytical skills
Self motivated, team player, flexible, creative
·Positive attitude towards learning and contributing
Context and Environment:
The incumbent must be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment that requires the ability to successfully maintain relationships with his/her customers and work with various business units throughout the company. An estimated 40% of the focus is on managing the JDE team. 60% is spent working with business owners. Must be flexible to travel between the Mississauga and Markham offices.
