RPG Programmer Analyst (RPG, Cobol, JDE, JDA, Lansa, VL Java - assets)

Principal Responsibilities:


- Work closely with Business Analyst, current RMS developer and 3rd Party vendor to ensure a smooth migration from current RMS system to JDA PMM, Promotions and PBOS system.

- Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and document technical specifications for system interfaces and modification to ensure corporate requirements are met.

- Develop code according to the company´s programming policies and coding standards.

- Debug and test system interfaces, modifications and additions to ensure high quality system performance.

- Liaise with other internal IT groups on designing and analyzing cross-platform systems.

- Provide general system support as required.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


- University degree, majoring in Computer Science.

- Minimum 5 year´ experience in PL/SQL programming.

- Minimum 3 years´ experience in PL/SQL, Uniface, Oracle 10g, UML, XML in AIX environment.

- Experience with one or more of the following programming languages are highly preferred: LANSA, VISUAL LANSA, COBOL, RPG and Java/J2EE.

- Experience in Retail industry is highly preferred.

- Experience with JDA PMM, Promotions and PBOS software is highly preferred.

- Experience with JDA (previously Manugistics) Demand and Fulfillment applications is preferred.

- Experience in working with source code control and configuration management methodology.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an orientation to detail.

- Strong communication skills: both written and verbal.

- Familiarity with relational database and client-server concepts.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment.

- Flexibility to travel between Mississauga and Markham offices as needed.
