Description of Position:
The Deployment Systems Engineer (DSE) will provide direct support to the Deployment Lead (DL) to assist in the coordination of program activities to satisfy the deployment. The DSE will be the back-up to the DL who takes primary deployment tasks as delegated/negotiated with the DL and will spearhead all activities in the DL’s absence. Additionally, the DSE is responsible for the deployment and its activities from initial contact to installation. Tracking deployment tasking to ground (to include site design deliverables. WAN/LAN, PSC, and specific deployment customer requirements). Candidate will be the alternate POC for the customer and T4 Management for deployment activities and status.

Specific Experience with the following required:
· Provide systems engineering and technical support to the DL in support of system deployments
· Validate system design meets customer requirements through the review of rack elevations, equipment cabling package, and dataflow package.
· Responsible for tasking and tracking all system deployment activities
· Provide timely status to the Government DL, report any risks and impact immediately.
· Coordinate the staging, software loading, testing, shipping, and fielding activities with tall appropriate parties.


Required Skills & Experience (from SE3 template):
· Minimum fifteen years in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers with:
· Five years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation. :
· Experience with Solaris, Linux, and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks

Security: Candidates must have TS/SCI clearance with full scope poly.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meets the experience requirements; or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
