In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, interpreting, implementing accounting concepts. Primary focus is around financial planning and analysis related to Capital accounting and reporting within the organization. Conducts special studies to analyze complex Capital actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, internal control, or action. Provides interpretation of Capital policies as it relates to accounting theory. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for development of applications, reporting, and analysis (Excel, Access, etc.) to evaluate future plans, forecasts, and actual Capital performance data. Analyzes Capital information to determine present and future financial performance as it relates to Capital resource availability. The candidate will be involved in development of fiscal Capital budgets with responsibility to be determined. Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly. Interprets and applies corporate financial policies, and accounting theory as it relates to Capital accounting and tracking. Is responsible for review of capital internal controls. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Computer Science or combination.
Preferred recent experience one (1) to four (4) years analysis, accounting and/or computer analysis experience. Combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
Advanced skill set in the following: EXCEL (Macro development, Pivot tables, Lookups).
* Preferred some working knowledge of SQL and database management techniques.
* Preferred some Visual Basic experience and/or ability to develop VB modules primarily in EXCEL.
Strong GAAP accounting knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding organization skills and superior attention to detail.
