Description:

§ Provide first piece inspection reports and/or initial sample submissions for all new products and per any specific customer requirements.
§ Help to enforce Corporate Quality Assurance policies, procedures, while supporting continuous improvement efforts in the facility.
§ Assist in processing complaints including problem solving, corrective actions and preventive actions to ensure customer has quick response with immediate corrective action.
§ Interface with manufacturing and engineering to effectively resolve internal and/or external quality problems in corrective, preventive, or continuous improvement manner.
§ Create, issue and implement control plans on an on-going basis, as required, for new products, specials, and existing product.
§ Coordinate SPC data collection, including retrieval, updating and initiation of records; analyze statistical data and trends and facilitate corrective action efforts.
§ Successfully complete and submit P PAP’s to our customers. Work with our supplier base to improve and approve their P PAP’s
§ Participate in the internal auditing process for TSI6949.


Requirements:

§ BS Degree in Engineering
§ Knowledge of Southco product line desired
§ Good written and oral communication skills
§ Safety and quality conscious
§ Ability to learn/use the Business and Quality systems
