Director of Sales and Marketing

The following is a more simplified, shorter, more to the point listing of the salient requirements that are essential for a candidate to meet the requirements of the above titled job description.

1. At least 5 years direct field sales experience in the (a) military, defense/aerospace industry, (b) commercial aircraft industry, and/or (c) marine industry of electronics equipment (not component parts or services) to either or both the OEM and Capital Equipment markets.

2. At least 10 or more years (excluding sales experience) of management experience of at least 10 sales/marketing personnel; the majority of which should be sales persons. This management experience is to have been gained during the applicant’s most recent job positions and while working for the design AND manufacturers of electronic equipment as defined in (1) above.

3. A College/ University degree in Marketing or Electrical Engineering.

4. International Business Experience while serving as a manager having responsibility for this area of activity.

5. Work history to reflect stability and professional growth.

6. Administrative functions to include forecasting, scheduling, and reporting of personnel and asset functions and use typically associated with the job description.

7. Demonstrated ability to motivate personnel to achieve goals set for the company, the Sales/Marketing department, and the personnel reporting to this position.
