As the demand for wind energy continues to grow, John Deere Credit is poised and ready to provide project development, debt financing and other services to those interested in harvesting the wind domestically and abroad.



Our Madison, Wisconsin location is looking for a Multi Lingual Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities include:



Provide service to English and French speaking customers and merchants.
Respond to customer and merchant inquiries by phone and written correspondence.
Troubleshoot for merchants electronically transmitting their transaction data.
Assist merchants with electronic upgrades and installations.
Work closely with Sales Managers and/or Branch Personnel to resolve problems and increase sales volume.
Cross-training with other products in the Merchant Services Area.
May perform regular tele-servicing to retain business and increase sales volume.
Some travel may be required.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Required Skills and Experience

Extensive verbal and written French language skills required.
Experience with Agricultural, Consumer and/or Commercial finance products.
Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of service delivery, ensure customer satisfaction and prioritize customer needs.
Ability to display enthusiasm and promote a friendly group working environment, work closely with other departments and support group decisions.
Ability to clearly present information through the spoken or written word, talk with customers and listen well.
Ability to develop rapport with others and recognize their concerns and feelings, build and maintain long-term associations based on trust.
Ability to act in accordance with established guidelines and follow standard procedures.
Ability and desire to proactively contact merchants to pursue increase charge volumes.

Desired Skills and Experience

Customer service experience in a financial or service environment.
Knowledge of revolving and installment credit products.
Experience with Outlook and Microsoft Office products (WORD and EXCEL) desired.
Internet exposure or experience helpful.

Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with rotating 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. shifts and occasional Saturday and holiday hours
