Posted: Apr 24, 2008 Responsibilities

*Will be responsible for working with manufacturing on the floor to record all assembly related issues and writing change orders to drafting to correct the issue. *Ensure the drawings get corrected in a timely manner and notifying manufacturing on the cut-in of the correction.

*Work with the engineering teams to review and document issues that need further review or analysis.

*Work with the lean manufacturing teams to ensure any drawing issue is resolved so as to have a minimal effect on tact time.

*Assist in the build of 1st units for international and North American locomotive and record issues that arise.
Qualifications

*Minimum 4 year Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college, or minimum 5+ years of manufacturing experience.

*Prior locomotive and mechanical systems experience.

Desired

*Strong communication and problem solving skills are desirable.

*Strong drive for meeting internal and external customer requirements.

*Ability to understand locomotive mechanical systems.

8Strong manufacturing experience working with all levels of the organization.

*Ability to navigate and interrogate drawings systems and recognize impact of changes across multiple customers.

*Strong ability to communicate with various engineering teams.
