Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise. - Provide leadership and technical direction to a large team for a specific program/project with significant business impact. - Establish a plan/program, define objective, and identify resources and funding source. - Manage the program/project, provide interim reports to customer, modify plan as required. - Provide counsel to team on design practices and standards. - Effectively communicate with the customer or program manager to assure a quality product is delivered.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science - At least 5 additional years of experience leading multi-disciplined engineering teams - Knowledge of internal combustion engine systems
