Position Description Operations controller for the Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) program located in Huntsville, Alabama. Support program operations and sustainment including scheduling and interfacing with internal and external customers. The responsibilities include integration and analysis planning. Must develop and maintain strong customer relationships, prepare and present status briefings, resolve issues, and risk analysis. Researches, analyzes, and compiles complex technical data for the GMD program in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle. Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product. Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives. Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes.
