1. Utilizes the Nursing Process according to the ANA/ARN Standards of Nursing Practice and the Maryland Nurse Practice Act . 2. Collaborates with Team members and health care providers to meet the patients personal, physical, psychological, spiritual and cognitive needs. 3. Administers medications safely and accurately in accordance with hospital policy and procedures. 4. Establishes realistic rehabilitation goals with the patient, family and multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care. 5. Directs and provides patient care including appropriate documentation and use of clinical supplies. 6. Demonstrates leadership and professionalism in the provision patient care. 7. Accountable for professional development and promotes peer growth. 8. Upholds the RISES standards with self, staff and stakeholders. 9. Provides appropriate education to stakeholders based on identified learning needs. 10. Actively participates in unit/ department goals and objectives.
