Position Summary: World class manufacturing facility providing is currently seeking a Chemical Engineer to work as part of a team providing engineering support and assistance at this facility. The role is primarily for providing chemical engineering support to operations by maintaining and improving mechanical reliability, operability, and cost of the unit. Responsibilities generally include: • Work in a team environment with operators, mechanics and exempt professionals. • Provide process-engineering support to operations & maintenance organizations. • Define and implement process improvements to improve operations & unit cost. • Prepare and execute design packages that will improve safety & operability of the plant. • Identify & prepare test authorizations & run plant tests in support of various programs. • Provide process-engineering support for solving operation problems and for project work. • Strong knowledge of process areas and equipment.
