Job Responsibilities:
To ensure the operability of the subsea system and directing and assisting in the development of operations procedures to include testing, commissioning, start-up, shut-down, safety, and maintenance/inspection/repair (MIR). May become part of a Global Operations/Installations Team servicing West Africa/GOM in subsea installations outside the wellbore.Provides Subsea Operations expertise during the design, construction, integration, testing, installation, and commissioning of subsea trees, controls, manifolds, jumpers, umbilicals, and topside control equipment.Participates in or leads Management of Change and HAZOP studies related to subsea equipment and control system changes, subsea interventions and rework in West Africa and the GOM, Interface & Risk Management activities to identify and properly manage and mitigate risks during design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities and Participates in HES work team and contractors to achieve an incident and injury free culture. Ensure project HES goals are achieved. Provides technical support for permitting/regulatory activities.Ensures the operability of the subsea system conducting operability reviews and gap assessments.Directs and assists in the development operations manuals and emergency procedures to include testing, commissioning, start-up, shut-down, and MIR.Maintains a log of operations events, lessons learned reports, and subsea change notices as well as an overview of the project progress and schedule to identify any weaknesses in procedures, workforce, safety, or planning to detect, address, and take remedial action. Required (Basic) Qualifications Bachelors degree required in Mechanical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering. Minimum 5 years of related subsea operations or intervention experience in Offshore Production Operations including Phase 5 operations of subsea equipment. Familiar with the design, fabrication, installation, and intervention of subsea systems - flow lines, manifolds, jumpers, and subsea trees. Demonstrates highest safety & environmental performance and leadership traits, must be proactive in addressing safety issues and have a proven track record of strong support of processes that support Incident Free Operations. Demonstrate support of management objectives and be a change champion. Solid understanding of safe design & operating principles. Ability to work effectively (minimal supervision) in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment. History of success working with complex processes and organizations to ensure project resources (material, equipment, and resources) are secured efficiently.
