Sr. C#/.NET Developer
Derivatives Development Team

Open Systems Technologies, a full-service consulting firm that specializes in providing inclusive IT solutions to the Financial Services industry. Our client, one of the top financial services firms in the world, is seeking a C#/.NET Developer for their downtown location (close to el trains and Metra stops) for a 6 month contract to hire.

Position Requirement (Technical):
• 3+ years of experience using C# and .NET framework
• Strong technology foundation in .NET/C# - Winforms and/or Webforms
• Experience with .NET grids like Infragistics etc.
• Strong Database Driven Development experience
• .NET remoting
• Multithreading
• Message queuing architecture (MQ, MSMQ)
• TIB/RV
• Web Service development and XML
• MS SQL Server/Transact SQL
• Data Modeling
• 3+ Years experience in using version control systems like Perforce, Clearcase or VSS
• 2+ years of experience using a structured software development methodology in a large corporate or consulting environment

Position Requirements (Financial, Industry)
• Knowledge of Risk Systems, Equity Derivatives
• Option Greeks
• High-volume eCommerce infrastructures
• Full life cycle hands-on-development
• Knowledge of K/Q (KDB)
• Knowledge of Java RMI
• Real-time System Design
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working directly with business users
• Ability to architect a solution and lead/participate in the development of the solution
• Banking and/or financial services industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline
